THE POWER OF WORDS"The Power of Words" is an award-winning short PSA style video where twelve strangers meet to discuss the power and impact words have had on them. It was part of larger campaign, #WordsStick, aimed to spread awareness about how powerful words can be.
I created this project for my capstone at Loyola, and was responsible for all pre-production, production and post-production of this campaign. I directed, produced, and edited all videos for this project. "The Power of Words" was nominated for a 2020 Midwest Student Emmy Crystal Pillar award in the long-form category, and was recognized with the 2020 BEA Festival of Media Arts Award of Excellence for the educational category. |
EVERY FLOWER HAS A STORY“Every Flower Has A Story” is an award-winning :30 spot that was inspired by the time I got my own sunflower. I co-wrote and co-directed the piece with Jared Wekenman. I also co-edited the piece. The piece was co-produced by Maria Pimentel and Diego Daura.
We created “Every Flower Has A Story” for AFE's Flower Love Video Contest. Our goal was to show how impactful flowers can be and encourages people to share their own flower story on social media by inserting the call to action in the end of "Every flower has a story. What's yours?" "Every Flower Has a Story" was recognized with the 2019 BEA Festival of Media Arts Award of Excellence for the spots category. |
